Colorado – US Pro Challenge Itinerary

Day One

Day 1, Frisco- Trip start

Welcome orientation, assemble bikes and warm up ride.
Ride: 22 miles/ 1,000 ft.
Today you will acclimatize to the altidude and enjoy a scenic warm up ride around Lake Dillon.

Day Two

Day 2, Frisco- Watch Queen Stage 2 Finish in Breckenridge

Ride: 55 miles/3,500 ft.
Frisco-Loveland Pass at 11,990 ft (8.5 miles/2,650 ft.) – Swan Mountain- Breckenridge- Frisco Loop .

Day Three

Day 3, Frisco – Watch Stage 5 Start in Breckenridge

Ride: 42-62 miles/3,000-4,500 ft.
Enjoy an easy spin in the morning to watch the Stage 5 Start, then you can ride Hoosier pass (10 miles/1,900 ft.).

Long option: Continue on to Fairplay and returns back up the south side of Hoosier Pass (10 miles/1,500 ft.).

Day Four

Day 4, Beaver Creek-Watch Stage 5 Uphill Finish at Beaver Creek

Ride: 40-68 miles/2,150-4,800 ft.
Frisco to Beaver Creek via Vail Pass. Another great day to watch a decisive uphill Stage Finish.

Long Option: Via Freemont,Tennessee pass and Battle Mountain.

Day Five

Day 5, Watch Stage 6 Individual Time Trial on Vail Pass

Ride: 52 miles/3,000 ft.
Beaver Creek to Vail Pass and watch the decisive and classic Vail Pass Individual Time Trial. The race will probably be won or loss during this stage and you will be up close to see all of the action live.

Day Six

Day 6, Frisco – Ride Battle Mt., Tennessee and Fremont Pass

Ride: 65/4,350 ft.
Your last ride will include part of the famous Copper Triangle. Starting in Beaver Creek, we will ride Battle Mt., Tennesse and Freemont Pass before enjoying a 20 miles descent back to Frisco

Long Option: If you still have the legs you can ride Vail Pass from Copper Mountain before your descent back to Frisco.

Day Seven

Day 7, Final Goodbyes

The tour concludes after breakfast. Self-guided option to watch Final Stage 7 Circuit Race in Denver.
